All work is proofread by a specialist academic proofreader before being checked by a senior editor in order to maintain quality and to ensure that our DSA clients receive the correct level of support.
Our editors hold a minimum of a Master’s degree, with the majority also holding a PhD. Many are active academics and all are native English speakers. Our senior editors have more than 20 years of experience in proofreading and editing academic prose. In order to help with planning the amount of support available – please allow approximately one hour per 1,000 words of text. This will allow an editor enough time to proofread the text and a senior editor enough time to review the suggested corrections.
If you don’t think you have enough funding to cover your texts, please speak with us first as we will always try to accommodate where possible.
